Growing a Forest

Although it isn't easy, we have to make our own paths, as teachers and children and families, in the forest. Sometimes we find ourselves together within the forest, sometimes we may get lost from each other, sometimes we'll greet each other from far away across the forest; but it's living together in this forest that is important. Living, teaching and nurturing children through the lens of a Reggio-inspired educator is no small task. It can be an inspiring journey, full of both unique challenges and unexpected joy. The Houston Reggio Network is a collection of individuals from a variety of communities dedicated to supporting and advocating for a strong image of the child. Together, we hope to walk our own paths while offering encouragement, inspiration, and an opportunity for growth.
